Wheels were spinning, the room was packed and mood lights kept a steady glow on Thursday night, August 25th when women of Blazin’ Babes and their girlfriends gathered in a stadium-like setting at WheelPower Studio in Deerfield, IL and cycled to the beat of the music showing the world that making your health a priority invigorates you to pursue your dreams, both personal and professional.
With their second event on “The Power of Health”, Blazin’ Babes emphasized the need for women to take charge of their health. “We all know that when mom is down, everyone is down. We also know what happens when endorphins kick in and you have an extra spring in your step. Finally, how many of us feel on top of the world when we slip into those skinny jeans? Pretty fantastic, right? We want women to recognize the power of health and make themselves and their health a priority.” – sentiments stated by Renata Merino Bregstone, founder and CEO of Blazin’ Babes
Not only was sweat prevalent all around, but also a little networking, fashion show, shopping and giving back filled this packed event. After a 45-minute cycle class, guests enjoyed a fashion show and shopping where brands such as RogaWear, Onzie, Beauty Counter and AverE were showcased. Guests also enjoyed refreshing juices by Pressed Vibrance and delicious Paleo food by KitchFix. Approximately $500 in proceeds generated that evening was donated to Life Foundation, a non-profit that helps couples with infertility and supports a healthy active lifestyle as part of the formula for overcoming fertility challenges. It was a joyous, philanthropic evening filled with fun, friends, fitness, fashion and philanthropy. Stay tuned for Blazin’ Babes’ next and final event on “The Power of Health” entitled, “Babes, Boobs, Body and The Bar” on October 6, 2016 at The Bar Method in Highland Park.
